Code for America

Una bella iniziativa: Code For America.
L’idea è di creare software Open Source da far utilizzare a tutte le pubbliche amministrazioni statunitensi.

Una cosa del genere sarebbe davvero efficace, in Italia.
Peccato che nessun politico al potere oggi abbia la capacità di capirne la portata, e di agire di conseguenza.

    BigG (and I'm not talking about Google) is genetically against "2.0" mechanisms, maybe not unreasonably. "Code for Community" may work and actually works, plenty of examples around the Web. "Code for State"... wishful thinking. The confusion between Community (the social sharing of emotions and experiences) and State (the technical rule of the sword) is too widespread, even if historically and logically unjustified.
